Seven unique Easter craft activities for kids.

At The Periwinkle Shoppe, we like to try and come up with unique and fun ideas. While traditional egg dyeing and egg hunts are fun and not to be missed, here are seven unique ideas for fun Easter crafts with kids: 

1. Easter Bunny Planters: Have kids decorate small pots with paint, markers, or stickers and then plant grass or flowers in them to make bunny planters. They can also add googly eyes, pom-poms, and pipe cleaners to create bunny faces.

2. Bunny Masks: Help kids make bunny masks using paper plates, construction paper, and paint. Cut out eye holes and add ears, whiskers, and a nose to complete the look.

3. Easter Egg Chicks: Have kids paint or decorate hard-boiled eggs to look like chicks using paint, feathers, and other craft materials. They can also add beaks and feet using construction paper or markers.

4. Bunny and Chick Finger Puppets: Use felt, glue, and scissors to create cute bunny and chick finger puppets. Kids can use them to put on puppet shows or decorate their Easter baskets.

5. Egg Carton Flowers: Cut out the individual cups from an egg carton and have kids paint or decorate them. Add a pipe cleaner stem and petals made of tissue paper to make a beautiful flower.

6. Easter Egg Wreath: Use a foam wreath form and glue plastic Easter eggs to it, covering the entire wreath. Kids can add ribbon, flowers, and other embellishments to personalize their wreath.

7. Bunny, Chick & Easter Basket Origami: Teach kids how to make origami bunnies, chicks, and baskets using colored paper. They can make several and use them as Easter decorations or place settings.
