Truly a wearable work of art! The oohs and ahhs when we received this in the shop were resounding! You will not be able to wear this kimono without receiving compliments or getting stopped to ask what brand it is.
The amazing artwork used for this piece was hand-drawn in Pennsylvania in 1854, and was originally created as a backdrop for a perfume and botanical extract display. We reworked the images and added our own touches — including the heart-in-hand (the symbol for kindness and charity), and messages in historic fonts (“love is the only gold” and “love one another”) to complement the original hand-lettering.
100% bamboo/wood viscose. Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry.
Kimono meaurements: length 118cm, width 78 cm (across back, underarm to underarm).
