Created collaboratively with artist Leslie Love, it was built by layering two different paintings together. Of her process, leslie says, “when i was done, i remembered more of what i know. I have been to guatemala, and honduras. And when i looked again, i recall driving through bc and alberta, milk river and the badlands, big skies, sagebrush. You don’t need to know all that to get an emotional response to the work, but i like to share the road i travelled to get here.”

The beautiful washed colours on this kimono feel sun-faded and worn in, like a treasured piece that has travelled the world.

100% bamboo/wood viscose. Kimono meaurements: length 60cm, width (across back, underarm to underarm) 74cm. Model is 5’2” for reference.

Machine wash gentle or handwash, hang to dry.
